Oilers game!

I went to the Caps/Oilers game last night. I don't know how the Caps suddenly learned penalty killing, but I hope they keep it up! It was a great 1-0 win. I'm not saying that they've turned the corner, but there were definite glimpses of greatness on the ice last night!

    It is amazing to think that the Caps have the number one point getters, in offense and defense, one of the best power plays in the league and still give up the second most goals in the league.

    The Oilers game was Kolzig's first shutout of the season and he deserved it. He really looked good.

    Hat's off to special teams; somone shook them up and they played great positional hockey. Especially the 5-on-3 3rd period PP.

      My mom went to the Flyers/Oilers game the night before, and watched the Flyers get shut out...what goes around comes around!
